My Grandma was a quiet woman. She and my Grandfather divorced when I was just a baby, so I never knew them married to each other. My Grandma showed me how to be a strong woman. She supported herself for the rest of her life caring for the newborn babies at the local hospital. I remember all of the gatherings at her house on the holidays and our family even took her on vacation with us several times.
I have only good memories of my Grandma. 🙂
